ISRO launches IRNSS-1A Sriharikota on June 12, 2013

Sriharikota is going to host another home grown rocket for ISRO on June 12, 2013. The Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System-1A (IRNSS-1A), PSLV-C22 is scheduled to be launched on June 12 at 1:01 July 1st 2013 from Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh India.

This is India's first navigational satellite, that will facilitates Military, Marine, terrestrial and disaster communication. IRNSS-1A wights 1425kg and the predicted life time is 10 years. This satellite will replace other seven satellites by 2015.
