Have you assembled your computer yourself?

Have you assembled a computer yourself ever? If yes, how it went through? what was the configuration? Which OS you installed in it? How was your over all experience?

I do plan on building my own high end computer myself, specifically for Collegelib development. Please share your views...

I build my own computer around seven years ago. It still works. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit on it.

I built my own computer in September and I installed Windows 7 on it. I absolutely love my computer and certainly do not regret building it. I love that I can easily customize my computer to what I need it to do. Also, I love the case I picked. I know some people find it a bit boring, but it reminds me of Eve from Wall-E (hence why I named my computer "Eve").

Happy to know you build it yourself, what is the configuration, the processor, RAM hard disk etc?
