Have you assembled your computer yourself?

I have helped my friend assemble a gaming machine. It's a beast and has been running for 3 months now. It has a AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor, Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard, Corsair Vengeance 8GB DDR3 Memory, 580Gig Seagate HD, Gigabyte Radeon HD 7970 3GB Video Card, Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower Case with a 23" Asus monitor. Only issue is that I'm jealous because it's his not mine! I'm free to come around his house though and play all the awesome games on full specs!

Happy to know you build it yourself, what is the configuration, the processor, RAM hard disk etc?

Hello! Thank you for the welcome! You can call me Liany if that's easier. :)

This is what I bought (I also bought myself a 24" monitor. I'm still looking for a new keyboard/mouse, but I'm pretty patience with that since I'm not a hardcore gamer):

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 612 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H ATX LGA1155 Motherboard
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
OCZ Vertex 4 128GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Corsair 500R White ATX Mid Tower Case
XFX ProSeries 750W 80 PLUS Silver Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Lite-On iHAS124-04 DVD/CD Writer
