Apache helicopter seminar report

Apache helicopter seminar Abstract
Apache helicopters started their journey as Model 77 which was made by Hughes helicopter. Boeing AH-64 Apache is a twin-engine four blade attack helicopters for a two men crews.

Features of Apache helicopter
It is a nose-mounted sensor which supports for target acquisition and night vision system. It has a 30-millimeter M230 chain gun carried under the aircrafts forward fuselage. It has four hard points used to carry AGM-114 Hellfire missiles and Hydra 70 rocket pods.

Apache helicopter Working
Its a weapon system, flight system, armor system and sensor system makes it ideal for army extensive use. Its working is similar to normal helicopter. Several blades are rotated with the help of two motors. Just like an airplane wing, its blade is titled airfoil. The purpose of each blade is to generate lift as it speeds through the air. The motor, which is attached to the top of the helicopter rotates four 6-meter blades. With the help of the swash plate mechanism, the pilot drives the helicopter. Each blade helps to increase lift as swash plate changes its position. The helicopter lifts straight up and down by adjusting pitch equally for all the blades. The blades around the rotation cycle make uneven lift due to pitch changing and helicopter fly in a particular direction.
