Treasure Hunting With Metal Detector Seminar Abstract, Report

An introduction to Treasure Hunting With Metal Detector
Treasure hunting is a hobby of many people. It offers you an insight into history while hunting for some valuable and ancient things which are lost in the earths interior. For this purpose, metal detectors are widely used. The type of metal detector to be used depends on the things you are hunting for. The various things you can do with the different types of metal detectors are: coin shooting, relic hunting, cache hunting, scuba metal hunting and so on. Modern metal detectors have made treasure hunting easier and more effective. Essentially, metal detectors use very low frequency, pulse induction or beat frequency oscillation technologies for their operation.

They use of the three technologies mentioned above. There is a coil provided at the end of the metal detector which plays a major role in the detection. For treasure hunting purposes, VLF detectors are mostly used which have high frequencies. The signal and its amplification mechanism can vary between various detectors. The coil actually senses the metal buried in the ground. Modern metal detectors have a display which tells the depth of the object in the ground and other vital information. These modern metal detectors have brought back the hobby of treasure hunting due to its result oriented approach.

We prepared and published this seminar abstract for final year engineering students seminar research. You should do your own research additional to this information before presenting your seminar.
