Noise reduction method on motorcycles Seminar Abstract, Report

An Introduction to noise reduction method on motorcycles
We all love driving motor bikes. Some high CC bikes make a lot of engine noise. In reality the sound of the motor bike gets controlled by the exhaust mechanism of the vehicle. The muffler present in the vehicle also reduces the noise to a greater extent. This technique of reducing noise using high end mufflers is known as acoustic quieting. Several mechanical engineers work hard to create the muffler. Poorly designed mufflers can result in a considerable power loss. The manufacturers usually attach the mufflers in a specific manner. Ultimately the aim is to get the maximum power and reduced noise.

You can find many vehicles have two mufflers to keep the engine noise very low. Mufflers get installed within the exhaust arrangement of the modern I.C engines. Though the muffler is not supposed to serve any key exhaust function, the muffler is usually seen as an acoustic soundproofing apparatus. This sound proofing apparatus is designed to trim down the loudness of the sound strain created by the engine. This technique is known as acoustic quieting. The mufflers also cool the engine in a superior way. This ultimately increases your engine life. There are several high performance mufflers available in the market.
