Animatronics

An introduction to Animatronics
2011-10-28 13:17:27
Animatronics is the use of mechatronics to create machines which seem animate rather than robotic.
Animatronics is a cross between animation and electronics.
Animatronic devices are basically a mechanized puppet. This can be pre programmed or remotely controlled one.
The device may only perform a limited range of movements or it may be incredibly versatile.
Through the precision, ingenuity and dedication of their creators, animatronic creatures often seem as real to us as their flesh-and-blood counterparts.
Long before digital effects appeared, animatronics was making cinematic history.
